Domestic oil companies have hiked petrol and diesel prices by 35 paise per litre for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday. Diesel prices are now reaching a century.
The same is not going to stop the rise in vehicle fuel prices in the Indian market in October. With the daily hike in petrol and diesel prices by 35 paise per litre, prices are reaching new record levels. According to the latest update by petroleum marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol has reached Rs 107.59 per litre while diesel has reached Rs 96.32 per litre in Delhi. Petrol is now selling at Rs 113.46 per litre and diesel at Rs 104.38 per litre in Mumbai.
