International crude oil is crossing $86 a barrel, while the price of vehicle fuel in the Indian market has skyrocketed. Prices are stable for the second consecutive day today amid rising inflation on petrol and diesel prices. State-owned oil companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel today (Tuesday). Petrol-diesel prices remained stable for the second consecutive day this week after a 5-day continuous hike of 35 paise per litre last week. However, oil prices across the country are at record levels.

According to the latest update released by the same Indian oil marketing companies, petrol and diesel prices are stable on October 26. The price of petrol and diesel had not increased even earlier on October 18 and 19. According to petroleum marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol in the national capital Delhi rests at Rs 107.59 per litre while in Mumbai at Rs 113.46 per litre. Diesel is selling at Rs 96.32 per litre in Delhi and Rs 104.38 per litre in Mumbai on October 26. Oil prices across the country have reached record levels. Speaking of metros, petrol and diesel are the most expensive in Mumbai.
