Petrol and diesel prices have gone up again today. Petrol has again become costlier by 58 paise and diesel by 35 paise after 2 consecutive days of steady rates. Petrol prices rose to Rs 107.94 per litre in the capital Delhi today, while diesel prices rose to Rs 96.67 per litre. Petrol is already above Rs 100 in many states of the country. In Madhya Pradesh, Balaghat has seen a big jump in petrol prices. Petrol is now close to Rs 120 per litre in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, which has achieved the highest rate of selling petrol. The price of petrol here is Rs 118.98 per litre, while diesel is selling at Rs 108.20 per litre. The public is upset because of the rising oil prices.

On the other hand, Congress will launch a membership drive against the price of petrol and diesel from November 1 on the ever-increasing inflation. First, between November 14-29, a campaign will be launched against the declining economy and unemployment. This was reported by Randeep Surjewala and Dinesh Gundurao at a press conference on Tuesday.
