Talking about petrol-diesel prices in 4 metro cities of the country today, Delhi has seen an increase in oil prices. Mumbai has also seen a slight jump. Petrol price in Delhi is now Rs 108.64 per litre. Petrol prices were 35 paise higher than on October 28. The price of diesel is Rs 97.37 per litre in Delhi. In Mumbai, petrol and diesel are priced at Rs 114.47 and Rs 105.49 per litre today. Petrol and diesel are 105.43 and 101.59 per litre in Chennai. In Kolkata, petrol is Rs 109.02 per litre while diesel is Rs 100.49 per litre.

According to the report, the price of diesel in Kolkata has crossed Rs 100. North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Howrah and Hooghly witnessed a rise in prices yesterday (October 28, 2021). Anirban Saha, an executive member of the West Bengal Petrol Pump Dealers Association, said that the way the prices have gone up is hurting us. The West Bengal Petrol Pump Dealers Association had on Friday stopped the sale of petrol and diesel for 30 minutes.
