New Delhi: There has been no change in the prices of diesel and petrol by the government oil companies today. There has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and Kolkata, the rates are the same as before. However, on 30 July, the Delhi government had cut the price of diesel by Rs 8.36, due to which the price of diesel in Delhi has been reduced to Rs 73.56 per litre in the market.

Know the price in major metros is so much: But today the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 80.43 per litre. The price of diesel is Rs 73.56 per litre. According to information from the IOCL website, the price of 1-litre petrol in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is 82.05, 87.19 and 83.63 per litre respectively. Talking about diesel, the price in these metros is 77.06, 80.11 and 78.86 respectively.

Price changes at six o'clock every day: The price of petrol and diesel is changed every day at 6 o'clock every day. New rates are applied from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things in the price of petrol and diesel, the cost of which has almost doubled. Petrol and diesel prices change every day, depending on what the price of crude is in the international market along with foreign exchange rates.
