The prices of both petrol and diesel fuel in the Indian market have not changed today (Wednesday) i.e. According to the new prices, today is the third consecutive day that petrol and diesel prices have not changed. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest fuel retailer, petrol prices are stable at Rs 101.19 and diesel at Rs 88.62 per litre in the national capital.

In Mumbai, petrol prices are priced at Rs 107.26 per litre and diesel at Rs 96.19 per litre. Petrol and diesel prices have not seen a jump for a long time. However, there has been a marginal cut in prices in the last few days. However, petrol and diesel prices are still at a record level. Petrol and diesel prices have been cut twice in the month of September.

At the beginning of the same month, on 1st September, the government oil companies in the Indian market had cut the prices of both petrol and diesel fuel by 15-15 paise per litre. On 5th September, petrol and diesel prices were again reduced by 15-15 paise per litre. Thus, petrol and diesel have become cheaper by 30-30 paise during the week. State that the difference in the prices of petrol and diesel in the States varies due to the tax and transportation prices imposed by the Central and State Governments.
