New Delhi. Efforts are being made to gradually bring down the prices of oil which are keeping skyrocketing daily by the government. In the same order, the price of petrol and diesel was cut on Monday. In the national capital Delhi, petrol prices were reduced by 22 paise and diesel was down by 20 paise. After the deduction, today, in Delhi, the price of petrol has been increased to Rs 78.56 per liter and diesel has been priced at Rs 73.16 per liter. At the same time, with the reduction of 22 paisa in Mumbai, petrol is now losing Rs. 84.06 and Rs. 21 paise, diesel is priced at Rs. 76.67 per liter.

It is worth mentioning that the reduction in the price of oil has been continuing cut since the last 19 days, which has received minor relief from the public. However, the reduction of petrol and diesel will not reduce the burden on the common man's pocket. This is because the price of petrol is still around 80 rupees in Delhi and diesel is around Rs 74 per liter.

For details, in the last few months, prices of petrol and diesel have increased considerably increase across the country. After this increase, the government and oil companies were giving clearance on the fact that this has happened because of the rising prices of crude oil.
