Petrol-diesel prices decrease for 7th consecutive day

New Delhi. For a few days in the country, for more than one and half month, the prices of petrol and diesel were continuously increasing, with the general public facing many difficulties. But now the prices have been steadily declining since the last six days and likewise it has seen a considerable decrease in petrol prices on the seventh day.

Petrol price in the national capital Delhi has declined by Rs. 81.25 per liter today, which has reduced the cost of petrol by 9 paisa per liter. Just like in the capital Delhi, the financial capital Mumbai has also recorded a decrease of 8 paise per liter in petrol prices, which has priced at Rs 86.73 per liter here. However, today there is no  cut of diesel prices and its price is stable at the prevailing level.

In Delhi, the price of diesel is Rs 74.85 per liter, while in the same financial capital Mumbai it is priced at Rs 78.46 per liter. It is noteworthy that till a few days back, prices of petrol and diesel were increasing in the country, which the people of the country were also very resentful. After this, the Central Government once cut the VAT on petrol diesel prices.
