Mumbai: Petrol and diesel prices have once again gone up on Saturday. In fact, in the four major metros of the country, the price of petrol has gone up by 30 to 39 paise and diesel by 24 to 32 paise. 106.93 per litre and diesel rs 97.46 per litre in Mumbai. Earlier last Wednesday and last Thursday, the prices of petrol and diesel had gone up. However, prices remained stable last Friday and rose once again today, Saturday.

In Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs. 100.91 per litre and diesel is getting Rs 89.88 per litre today. In addition, coming to Kolkata, petrol is fetching Rs 101.01 and diesel Rs 92.97 per litre. At the same time, the fuel rate is the highest in the cities of Maharashtra. 105 per litre in most of the cities of the State and if the fuel prices continue to rise at this pace, diesel will soon get Rs.100 per litre.

Let us also tell you that petrol rates have gone up six times and diesel rates four times in the month of July so far. In fact, earlier, petrol and diesel rates had gone up 16 times in the month of June. Fuel rates had increased 16 times in the same month of May. In fact, petrol and diesel prices have been rising steadily since May 4 after elections in five States, including West Bengal, and fuel rates were stable for 18 consecutive days during these elections. Fuel rates started rising rapidly as soon as the election results came in.
