According to state-owned oil companies, petrol in Gautam Budh Nagar district has increased by 24 paise to Rs 97 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 90.14 per liter. With this, petrol in Lucknow has become cheaper by 4 paise and reached Rs 96.44 per liter, while diesel has come down by 3 paise to Rs 89.64 per liter. At the same time, if we talk about crude oil, then in the last 24 hours, its prices are showing a jump of about $1.5. Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, rose $1.46 to $86.88 a barrel. At the same time, WTI also rose about $1 and it is selling at $81.19 a barrel.

Petrol and diesel prices in four metros:-

– Petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.65 and diesel is Rs 89.82 per liter.
– Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 101.84 and diesel is Rs 89.07 per liter.
– Petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter.
– Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per liter.

Let us tell you that the prices of petrol and diesel change at 6 am every day. The new rates come into effect from 6 am. Yes, after adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT, and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price.
