Today, no change has been seen in the prices of vehicle fuel in the 4 major metros of the country and with this people have not got any relief on this front even today. However, at this time a jump is also being seen in the prices of crude oil and due to an increase in demand in the international market, the prices of crude oil are increasing. Due to this, there is no hope of getting relief on the prices of petrol and diesel in the country in the near future. The cheapest petrol in the country is available in Port Blair of Andaman and Nicobar where petrol is priced at Rs 84.10 and diesel at Rs 79.74 per liter.
If we look at the prices of crude oil in the international market today, an increase is being seen in it. Crude oil prices are trading with an increase of about 2 percent in the global market. Today, Brent crude, with a strength of 1.73 percent, remains at $85.92 per barrel and thus its price has come close to $86. The level of $80.62 per barrel is being seen in WTI crude and it has jumped more than half a percent.
