New Delhi: In the domestic market, the government oil companies have not changed the price of diesel and petrol again today. Petrol prices have remained the same for the last 18 days. The price of petrol was last recorded on September 22 from 7 to 8 paise per liter. In the last 14 days, the price of diesel has fallen by about 1 rupee.
Diesel has become cheaper by Rs 3 per liter from September 1 to October 2. However, there is no effect on the price of petrol. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles. In Delhi, petrol is being sold today at Rs 81.06 per liter. Diesel prices are also stable at Rs 70.46 per liter. Petrol in Mumbai is being sold at Rs 87.74 per liter and diesel at Rs 76.86 per liter.
In Kolkata, petrol is being sold at Rs 82.59 per liter and diesel at Rs 73.99 per liter. In Tamil Nadu capital Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 84.14 per liter and diesel is priced at Rs 75.95 per liter. Petrol in Bangalore is being sold at Rs 83.69 per liter and diesel at Rs 74.63 per liter.
