New Delhi: There is a mixed trend in the price of crude oil in the global market. There is a weakness in Brent's price. OPEC is scheduled to increase production early next year, which is expected to increase supply. Here the common man is relieved in the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market. There is no modification in the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market today. Government oil companies have not changed prices today for the 25th consecutive day.

Since November 20 in Delhi, petrol has become expensive by Rs 2.65 in 15 instalments. While diesel has increased by Rs 3.41. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles. There is no increase in the price of petrol and diesel in Delhi today on 01 January. Petrol is being sold at Rs 83.71 per litre tomorrow and diesel at Rs 73.87 per litre.

Petrol-diesel prices are also stable in Mumbai. Petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 90.34 per litre. Diesel is being sold at the rate of Rs 80.51 per litre. There is no change in the price of petrol and diesel in Kolkata also today. Petrol costs Rs 85.19 per litre and diesel costs Rs 77.44 per litre. Petrol-diesel prices have not increased in Chennai too. Petrol prices are Rs 86.51 per litre and diesel prices are Rs 79.21 per litre.
