New Delhi: Crude oil prices have slowed down in the global market. The impact is clearly seen in the domestic market. Today, government oil companies have cut the prices of both petrol and diesel on Thursday. Petrol has become cheaper by 9 paise a litre and diesel by 11 paise a litre in the national capital today. Let us say that after a long time, the prices of petrol and diesel have come down simultaneously.
Market experts believe that there is pressure on prices due to weak oil demand. In Delhi, the price of both petrol and diesel has declined on September 10 today. Petrol is selling at Rs 81.99 per litre, 9 paise cheaper. Similarly, diesel prices have come down by 11 paise to Rs 73.05 per litre. In Mumbai also, petrol-diesel prices have been cut. Petrol prices have come down by 9 paise to Rs 88.64 per litre and diesel by 12 paise to Rs 79.57 per litre.
In Kolkata also, petrol and diesel prices have come down today. Petrol is selling at Rs 83.49 per litre and diesel is 11 paise cheaper at Rs 76.55 per litre. Similarly, in Chennai also, petrol-diesel prices have come down. Petrol has come down by 8 paise to Rs 84.96 per litre and diesel by 10 paise to Rs 78.38 per litre. In Bengaluru too, petrol-diesel is priced at Rs 84.66 and Rs 77.34 per litre respectively.
