New Delhi: The price of petrol-diesel is continue to increase. On Thursday, February 11, oil prices rose once again. Oil marketing companies said that today the price of diesel increased by 30 to 31 paise, while the price of petrol increased by 24-25 paise per liter. Petrol prices have reached an all-time high in Delhi and Mumbai.

According to the Indian Oil Corporation, diesel has been sold in Delhi at Rs 78.03 per liter, while petrol is being sold at Rs 87.85 per liter. In Mumbai, the prices of diesel and petrol increased to 84.94 per liter and 94.36 per liter respectively. Talking about Kolkata, petrol is being sold at Rs 89.16 per liter and diesel at Rs 81.61 per liter, and in Chennai petrol is priced at Rs 90.18 and diesel at Rs 83.18.

On the question of rising prices of petrol and diesel, on Wednesday, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in the Upper House that the reshuffle of prices depends on international prices, the government has no role in this, he said that it is the petroleum companies that decide. Pradhan also said that the government has no proposal to reduce the tax on petrol and diesel.
