New Delhi: Indian consumers are getting the benefit of the ongoing war in the prices of crude oil in the international market. Petrol and diesel prices have been recorded for the seventh consecutive day. In Delhi, petrol has become cheaper by Rs 2.69 per liter in the last six days, while the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 2.33 per liter. In other cities of the country, the price of petrol and diesel has fallen by more than one rupee per liter.

For the past few days, the price of crude oil had broken up by 31% in the international futures market on Monday due to the oil price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia. There has been recovery after the fall in the price of crude oil in the international market on Monday. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi is being reduced to Rs 70.20 per liter. In the four metros, the price of diesel has also come down to Rs 63.01, Rs 65.34, Rs 65.97 and Rs 66.48 respectively.

The international futures market was trading at $ 36.83, up 7.19% from the previous session in the May contract of Brent crude on the Intercontinental Exchange.
