New Delhi: Petrol-diesel prices have increased again today. It has continued to grow in the last several days. When questions were raised on the rising prices of petrol and diesel, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in the Rajya Sabha recently that the government has no proposal to reduce the tax on petrol and diesel. He had said that the change in prices depends on international prices, there is no role of the government in this, only petroleum companies are fixing the price.

According to the Indian Oil Corporation, on Friday, February 12, the price of petrol increased by 28 to 29 paise, while diesel prices increased from 35 paise to 38 paise. Petrol is being sold in Delhi today at Rs 88.14 per litre and diesel at Rs 78.38 per litre. Diesel in Mumbai today costs Rs 85.32 per litre and petrol is Rs 94.64 per litre. Petrol is being sold at Rs 89.44 in Kolkata, diesel at Rs 81.96 and petrol at Rs 90.44 and diesel at Rs 83.52 in Chennai.

Apart from the four metros, Noida is offering one litre of petrol at Rs 87.05 and diesel at Rs 78.80 per litre. Talking about Patna, petrol has been increased to Rs 90.55 per litre and diesel to Rs 83.58 per litre. Petrol is available at 86.99 rupees and diesel 78.75 per litre in Lucknow.
