New Delhi: There has been no change in the prices of petrol once again on Sunday. However, oil companies have increased the price of diesel from 16 to 18 paise after 12 days. After this, the price of diesel has increased more than petrol in Delhi. VAT is looking high here. Although the price of petrol in NCR is still higher than diesel.
Petrol is being sold in Delhi today at Rs 80.43 per liter, while diesel prices have increased by 16 paise to Rs 80.94 per liter as against Rs 80.78 earlier. Petrol price in Kolkata remained steady at Rs 82.10 per liter, while diesel crossed the Rs 76 level and diesel sold at Rs 76.05 per liter against Rs 75.89 on Saturday. In the financial capital Mumbai, the price of one liter petrol is still Rs 87.19, while one liter diesel has become expensive and is being sold at Rs 79.17 as against Rs 79.05 yesterday.
The price of petrol in Chennai remained stable at Rs 83.63, while diesel became a bit expensive. Diesel in Chennai was sold at Rs 78.01 per liter from yesterday's Rs 77.91 per liter. Unlike Delhi, petrol prices were significantly higher than diesel in other metro cities like Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.
