New Delhi: Petrol-diesel price has increased for the fifth consecutive day in the country. Today, the price of diesel has increased by 30 paise in Delhi, while in other cities, the prices have increased a lot. Petrol price has reached an all-time high in Delhi and Mumbai. Prices of petrol and diesel have been increasing since Tuesday.

According to the website of Indian Oil, on Saturday, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 88.44 per litre, while in Mumbai it is Rs 94.93. Petrol price in Kolkata is Rs 89.73 per litre and in Chennai, it is Rs 90.70 per litre. Talking about diesel, in Delhi today it is Rs 78.74 per litre. The price of diesel in Mumbai is 85.70 per litre, in Kolkata the price of diesel is Rs 82.33 per litre, in Chennai the diesel is Rs 83.86 per litre.

Petrol price has reached Rs 95 per litre in Mumbai. Petrol prices can also cross Rs 100 per litre if crude oil prices rise further. However, the price of crude oil has been softening again for two seasons, which can be expected to rein in the continued increase in the price of both vehicle fuels.
