New Delhi: State-owned oil companies today gave a big relief to citizens. Oil companies have reduced petrol and diesel prices even after crude was expensive in the global market. This cut has been made after 15 days on petrol and diesel. Today, april 15, petrol prices have been cut by up to 16 paise per litre and diesel by 14 paise per litre.
After the cut, the price of one litre of petrol in the country's capital Delhi has come down to Rs 90.40 per litre while diesel has come down to Rs 80.73 a litre. Even then, petrol and diesel prices are at an all-time high in most cities of the country. The price of petrol and diesel was cut thrice last month. Petrol was cheaper by 22 paise and diesel by 23 paise per litre on March 30. Earlier, petrol and diesel prices were reduced on March 24 and 25. The cut of these two days had made petrol cheaper by 39 paise and diesel by 37 paise in Delhi.
