New Delhi: Oil companies have cut prices of petrol and diesel on Friday for the second consecutive day. That is, for petrol and diesel today, customers will have to pay less money than Thursday. In Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, the price of one liter petrol has been cut by 14 paise. At the same time, the price of petrol in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, has decreased by 22 paise per liter, after which the price of petrol in these metros has been reduced to 75.41, 78, 81 and 78.34 per liter respectively.

On the other hand, if you talk about diesel, one liter of diesel has become cheaper by 15 paise in Delhi, 16 paise in Kolkata and Mumbai and 22 paise in Chennai. After this, the price of diesel has been reduced to 68.77, 71.13, 72.11 and 72.67 per liter respectively. Please tell that the price of petrol and diesel changes at six in the morning every day. The new rates are applicable from 6 o'clock in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles.
