New Delhi: In the domestic market, the government oil companies have not made any change in the price of diesel and petrol on Saturday. Diesel prices remained steady for the 15th consecutive day. Petrol prices have remained stable for the last 25 days. The price of petrol was last recorded on September 22 from 7 to 8 paise per litre. In the last 19 days, the price of diesel has fallen by about 1 rupee.
From September 1 to October 2, the price of diesel has fallen by more than Rs 3 per litre. However, there is no effect on the price of petrol. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its prices almost double. Petrol prices remained unchanged for the 25th consecutive day on 17 October in Delhi. In Delhi, petrol is being sold today at Rs 81.06 per litre. While the prices of diesel are also the same today.
Diesel is being sold tomorrow at Rs 70.46 per litre. There is no change in the price of petrol and diesel in Mumbai. Petrol costs Rs 87.74 per litre and diesel at Rs 76.86 per litre. Petrol-diesel is also being sold in Kolkata today at Rs 82.59 and Rs 73.99 per litre respectively. Similarly, in Chennai, petrol and diesel are priced at Rs 84.14 and diesel Rs 75.95 per litre respectively.
