New Delhi: The wild increase in prices of petrol and diesel continues unabated. On Thursday, February 18, 2021, oil marketing companies have increased retail fuel prices for the 10th consecutive day. Petrol prices in the country's capital Delhi on Thursday have been increased by 34 paise and diesel prices by 38 paise. After today's increase, the price of diesel in Delhi has also crossed Rs 80 per litre.

Today, after the change in prices, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 89.88 per litre and diesel at the rate of Rs 80.27 per litre. Talking about other metro cities, petrol in Mumbai has increased by 32 paise to Rs 96.32 per litre. Diesel is being sold here at the rate of Rs 87.36 per litre. Talking about Chennai, the price of petrol here is Rs 92 per litre, while diesel is Rs 85.39 per litre. In Kolkata, the price of petrol is being sold at Rs 91.01 per litre and diesel at the rate of Rs 83.92 per litre.

In addition, the price of XP category petrol is running at Rs 100.79 per litre in Bhopal. After the premium petrol in the border Ganganagar district of Rajasthan, the price of normal petrol also crossed Rs 100 per litre on Wednesday. On Wednesday, petrol in Ganganagar sold 100.13 rupees and diesel 92.13 rupees per litre. However, last month, the Rajasthan government announced a 2% reduction in VAT on petrol and diesel.
