New Delhi: The trend of falling petrol and diesel prices continued on Sunday. Oil marketing companies have given huge relief to consumers by cutting the prices of petrol and diesel for the fourth consecutive day. Petrol has become cheaper by 61 paise per litre in the national capital in these four days and the price of diesel has also been reduced by 61 paisa per litre.

Consumers in other cities of the country have also received a relief of 60 paise or more per litre in petrol and diesel prices in these four days. On Sunday, the price of petrol has been cut by 17 paise in Delhi and Mumbai, 16 paise in Kolkata and 18 paise per litre in Chennai. At the same time, the price of diesel has decreased by 16 paise in Delhi and Kolkata, while in Mumbai and Chennai by 17 paise per litre.

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has come down to Rs 75.09, Rs 77.69, Rs 80.68 and Rs 78.01 per liter respectively. At the same time, the prices of diesel in the four metros have also come down to Rs 68.45, Rs 70.81, Rs 71.77 and Rs 72.33 per litre respectively.
