New Delhi: After three consecutive days of increase in petrol prices, the brakes were on Monday and there was no change in its prices in the four metros, while diesel prices remained stable for the third consecutive day. On Sunday, the price of petrol was increased by five paise in Delhi, in Kolkata, seven paise in Mumbai and eight paise per litre in Chennai. After November 7, the price of petrol in Delhi has increased by Rs 2.31 per litre.

On November 7, petrol was being sold in Delhi at Rs 72.60 per litre. The price of petrol in the country is at a high level for more than a year. Earlier, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 75.25 per litre on 24 November 2018. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai was Rs 74.91, Rs 77.61, Rs 80.59 and Rs 77.91 per litre respectively.

At the same time, according to the website of Delhi, Indian Oil, in the four metros of Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the price of diesel remains unchanged at Rs 65.78, Rs 68.19, Rs 69 and Rs 69.53 per litre respectively.
