New Delhi: Crude oil price remains weak in the global market. The prospect of increased inventory in the US and a lack of consensus in OPEC about the production is putting pressure on prices. Looking at the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market, the price of petrol and diesel has increased again today. Government oil companies have increased the price of petrol by 17 paise and diesel by 21 paise today.
Petrol has become costlier by Rs 1.60 per litre in 11 instalments since November 20 in Delhi. While diesel has been increased to Rs 2.38 per litre. Prior to this, the price of petrol was last seen on September 22 from 7 to 8 paise per litre. From September 1 to October 2, the price of diesel has been reduced by more than Rs 3 per litre. However, there is no effect on the price of petrol. There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the month of October. While the price of petrol was increased in August and diesel in July.
Petrol-diesel prices have increased in Delhi today on December 3. Petrol prices have increased from Rs 82.49 per litre to Rs 82.66 per litre yesterday. That is an increase of 17 paise. Similarly, the price of diesel has increased from Rs 72.65 per litre to Rs 72.84 per litre yesterday. 19 paise has been increased.
