New Delhi: Petrol prices have increased once again after one day of stability. Petrol in the national capital Delhi has become expensive by 10 paise and has reached the price of 81 rupees. Within a week, petrol in Delhi has become expensive by 57 paise per litre. There was no change in the price of petrol on Wednesday. The last increase in the price of petrol was on Tuesday.
Petrol has become costlier by 17 paise in Delhi on Tuesday. Petrol in Kolkata and Mumbai was 13-13 paise, while in Chennai, 12 paise per litre became expensive. In terms of diesel, the price remains stable for the 19th consecutive day. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has increased to Rs 81, Rs 82.53, Rs 87.68 and Rs 84.09 per litre respectively. The prices of diesel in the four metros have remained stable at Rs 73.56, Rs 77.06, Rs 80.11 and Rs 78.86 per litre respectively.
There is a phase of fluctuations in crude oil in the global market. The price of crude oil was recorded last week. Benchmark crude oil Brent crude is trading at a level of $ 45 per barrel.
