New Delhi: There has been no revision in the prices of petrol and diesel for the last 48 days. On the other hand, the crude oil market is in a state of turmoil. While crude oil prices fall first, the very next day has a sharp jump. Crude oil prices rose nearly 5 per cent from overseas markets to the Indian market on Tuesday.
According to the IOCL, there has been no change in the price of petrol in all the four metros of the country. The same price is still in force today as it was on Tuesday. The price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 95.41 per litre. On the other hand, petrol prices in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai are Rs 104.67, Rs 109.98 and Rs 101.40 per litre respectively. 8.56 per litre due to low VAT in Delhi in the recent past. Oil marketing companies have not revised the price of petrol and diesel since 4th November 2021.
On the other hand, when it comes to diesel, it has seen stability for the 48th consecutive day. According to information received from the IOCL, the same diesel prices will remain in force in all the four metros of the country which have been going on for the past few days. Diesel is being sold at Rs 86.67 per litre in Delhi, Rs 89.79 in Kolkata, Rs 94.14 in Mumbai and Rs 91.43 per litre in Chennai. 5 per litre and diesel excise duty by Rs.10 per litre just before Diwali.
