While petrol in Chennai is Rs 84.14 per litre and diesel is Rs 75.95 per litre.

A report of the American Energy Information Administration (EIA) which came earlier said that next month there will be a decrease of 1,21,000 barrels in the production of oil in the 7 major shale formations. After which, a rise in crude oil prices was expected. However, in the domestic market, it has no effect on the price of petrochemicals at present.
