New Delhi: Oil companies have given major relief to oil customers for the third consecutive day today. Today, for the third consecutive day, there has been no revision in the price of petrol and diesel. Petrol prices were stable since last few days. But the price of diesel was increasing. Diesel has become expensive by Rs 1.11 per liter since July 7.
Three days earlier, diesel prices in Delhi had increased by 12 paise. On the other hand, talking about petrol, it has not increased for the last 23 days. Its price was last increased on June 29, that too only 5 paise per liter but the prices of diesel were continuously increasing. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, and other things to the prices of petrol and diesel, its prices almost double.
Petrol-diesel prices are located in Delhi on 23 July today. Petrol in Delhi is being available tomorrow at Rs 80.43 only. Diesel is also being sold at the rate of Rs 81.64 yesterday. The price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 87.19 per liter, while the price of diesel is Rs 79.83 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata is also stable at Rs 82.10 per liter and diesel at 76.77.
