New Delhi: Amid the corona virus and black fungus epidemic across the country, inflation is also wreaking havoc on the common man. The price of petrol and diesel has been relieved on Wednesday after rising prices for the 13th consecutive term since May 4. Today, there is no revision in the prices of petrol and diesel.

Petrol prices rose by 23 paise and diesel by 25 paise in Delhi on Tuesday. The price of one litre of petrol in Delhi is Rs 93.44 and that of one litre of diesel is Rs 84.32 per litre due to non-increase on Wednesday. Petrol is being sold at Rs 99.71 per litre and diesel at Rs 91.57 per litre in Mumbai. Petrol prices had already crossed Rs 100 in several cities of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra and with the latest hike, Mumbai has also come very close to this level.

Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and Hindustan Petroleum Oil Companies report the prices of petrol and diesel in all cities every morning. Today's price is Rs 99.70 per litre, diesel at Rs 91.57 per litre in Mumbai. In Chennai, petrol is Rs 95.06 per litre, diesel is Rs 89.11 per litre. Petrol is Rs 93.49 per litre, diesel Rs 87.16 per litre in Kolkata, the capital of Bengal.
