No revision in petrol-diesel price, know today's rates

New Delhi: The price of petrol and diesel remained stable on Monday. The price of crude oil has returned strongly in the global market. The benchmark crude oil Brent crude price has again risen to $ 40 per barrel. There has been no revision in the price of diesel for the third consecutive day, while the price of petrol has remained stable since last month. In the national capital Delhi, the petrol price fell by 0.97 paise per liter in September, while the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 2.93 per liter.

Oil marketing companies have cut diesel prices only once in the current month of October. According to the website of Indian Oil, diesel prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remained flat at Rs 70.46, Rs 73.99, Rs 76.86, and Rs 75.95 per liter respectively without any modification on Monday. Earlier on Friday, the price of diesel was reduced by 17 paise in Delhi, 16 paise in Kolkata, 18 paise in Mumbai, and 15 paise per liter in Chennai.

Petrol prices in the above four metros are also available at Rs 81.06, Rs 82.59, Rs 87.74, and Rs 84.14 per liter respectively. Brent crude's December delivery futures contract on the international futures market, InterContinental Exchange (ICE), was trading at $ 40 a barrel on Monday, up 1.86 percent from the previous session.
