New Delhi: Diesel prices have increased once again on the second business day of the week i.e. Tuesday. Government oil companies have increased the price of diesel by 25 paise per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol remains stable for the eighth consecutive day. Earlier, there was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel for 7 consecutive days.

In the national capital, the price of diesel has reached Rs 80.78 per liter. At the same time, in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, diesel is being sold at the rate of 79.05, 77.91 75.89 per liter respectively. Petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai are stable at Rs 80.43, Rs 82.10, Rs 87.19 and Rs 83.63 per liter respectively without any change. Brent crude, the benchmark crude oil on the international futures market Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), gained 0.35 per cent on Monday to trade at $ 42.95 a barrel, while Brent prices had previously risen to $ 43.09 a barrel during trading.

However, the price of crude oil is still in the range of $ 45. Experts say that due to the deepening outbreak of corona worldwide, the demand for crude oil is still not as expected. At the same time, due to tensions between Iran and Israel, the price of crude oil has also been strengthened.
