New Delhi: Tension is expected to reduce between the US and Iran. In these conditions, the prices of crude oil in the international market have come down by 4%. However, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased. Oil marketing companies have increased the price of petrol by 7 paise in Delhi and Mumbai, 6 paise in Kolkata and 8 paise per liter in Chennai.

Similarly, the price of diesel has increased by 15 paise in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai and 16 paise per liter in Kolkata. According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has increased to Rs 75.81, Rs 78.39, Rs 81.40 and Rs 78.77 per liter respectively. At the same time, the price of diesel in the four metros has also increased to Rs 68.94, Rs 71.31, Rs 72.29 and Rs 72.85 per liter respectively.

Crude oil prices have seen a fall of up to 4% on the indication of reduced military tension between the US and Iran. However, it is still trading at a price of $ 65 per barrel. On the international futures market, the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Brent crude was trading at $ 65.86 a barrel, up 0.64 per cent over the previous session, while Brent crude rose to $ 66.09 a barrel during trading.
