New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices continued to remain stable for the fourth consecutive day. In fact, oil marketing companies have not changed petrol and diesel prices in any way even today, Saturday. Petrol has become cheaper by 35 paise and diesel by 95 paise per litre in August so far. From 17th July 2021, till 21st August, that is, 35 days, petrol prices remained the same.

On the other hand, if we talk about July, the price of petrol had increased by Rs 3.03 in that month. At the same time, diesel prices had gone up by 69 paise per litre. According to Indian Oil's website, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.49, Rs 107.52, Rs 101.82 per litre in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata Chennai today i.e. Saturday (August 28, 2021). On the other hand, customers in all four metros have to pay Rs 88.92, Rs 96.48, Rs 91.98 per litre for diesel respectively.

Tell you that oil marketing companies fix petrol diesel rates every day after reviewing the prices. Oil companies revise petrol and diesel rates at 6 a.m. every day and the price of oil doubles after adding excise duty, dealer's commission to petrol diesel prices.
