New Delhi: While the corona infection epidemic in the country has taken a rough shape, petrol and diesel prices continue to skyrocket. Petrol and diesel prices rose in a week to a record high on Wednesday amid the crisis, after which the price of petrol crossed Rs 100 per litre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

In Madhya Pradesh, petrol is being sold at Rs 100.08 per litre and diesel at Rs 90.05 per litre in bhopal today. Petrol is now available at Rs 92.05 per litre in the national capital, while diesel is priced at Rs 82.61 per litre. Petrol price in Mumbai, Maharashtra is Rs 98.36 and diesel at Rs 89.75 per litre on Wednesday.

Crude oil prices continue to hike in the global market even as corona virus cases in India have risen. These prices are rising due to rising demand in the US and weakening of the dollar. According to an official in the petroleum industry, crude oil prices are constantly going up in the international market. Crude oil prices have touched close to 70 dollars a barrel.
