Petrol and diesel prices in the country did not rise on the first day of July. Yesterday meant there was no increase in prices even on Wednesday. However, there are constant reports that crude oil prices are going to rise in the international market soon. So prices may increase in the coming days. Yesterday, the international market witnessed a mild relief in crude oil prices, which has not led to a rise in fuel prices today. Tell me, petrol and diesel prices are now at a record high after continuous growth for the last one and a half months. In addition, prices have crossed Rs 105 in many cities of the country. Petrol prices in Mumbai are running at Rs 105 a litre.

Petrol and diesel prices have been witnessing a steady rise since May 4. Petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 and Rs 105 in many cities of the country due to the daily intermittent increase. These include Jaisalmer, Ganganagar, Hyderabad, Leh, Banswara, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Guntur, Kakinada, Chikmagalur, Shivamogga, Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, Patna and Leh.

Prices vary daily:-
The prices of petrol and diesel change daily at 6 a.m. The new rates come into effect from 6 a.m. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other items to the prices of petrol diesel, the price almost doubles.
