Petrol prices remain stable for the fifth day

New Delhi: Relief is on for the fifth consecutive day after the budget hike in the price of petrol and diesel. There was no change in the price of diesel on Saturday morning. In Delhi, the price of petrol remained constant at Rs 72.90 a litre for the fifth consecutive day. On Friday, the price of diesel had fallen by 10 paise to Rs 66.24 per litre. On Saturday, diesel had the same rate.

The price of one litre of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 78.52 and diesel at Rs 69.43, petrol in Kolkata Rs 75.12 and diesel Rs 68.31, Chennai petrol Rs 75.71 and diesel Rs 69.97, Noida petrol Rs 72.23 and diesel At Rs 65.32 and Petrol at Gurugram Rs 72.75 and Diesel At Rs 68.31 Sold at Rs 65.12 a litre.

In the General Budget, the government had increased excise duty on petrol and diesel and imposed a cess. Petrol then became expensive at Rs 2.45 and diesel at Rs 2.36 a litre. Crude oil prices, on the other hand, also saw a slight increase. On Saturday morning, WTI crude rose mildly to 60.21 dollars a barrel. Brent crude was found to be trading at $66.72 a barrel.
