Petrol prices stable today, diesel continues to rise

New Delhi. With the continuous increase in prices of petrol and diesel in the country for nearly one and a half months, the public got little relief when Finance Minister Arun Jaitley removed excise duty from their prices and brought down the prices. But even before the people of the country believed in the news, the prices of petrol and diesel started hike already, which is still going on.

In this episode, there is a huge increase in diesel prices across the country. However, there has been no increase in the prices of petrol, which has provided some relief to the general public. Diesel prices have increased by 24 paisa a liter in Delhi's national capital, which has cost Delhi 74.35 per liter in Delhi. Similarly, in the country's financial capital Mumbai, diesel has increased by 0.25 paisa a liter and its price has reached Rs 77.93 a liter.

Petrol price in Delhi is stable at Rs 82.26 per liter today and Rs 87.73 per liter in Mumbai. Let us tell you that the prices of petrol and diesel in the country are increasing steadily from last one and a half months. A few weeks before following the protest, the Congress Party had also organized an Indo-Bangla movement.
