Lucknow: The strings of the Kanpur violence case are now also connecting with the radical Islamist organization Popular Front of India (PFI). It is being told that in the recent arrest of the accused of violence, the police have arrested three members of this organization, who have been identified as Saifullah, Naseem and Umar. It is being told that these three were also arrested during the anti-CAA violence. Police Commissioner Vijay Singh Meena has informed on the arrests that the police had identified 5 members of PFI in the Kanpur violence case. Out of these 3 members have been arrested. One is absconding and one is sick.

Police suspect that other members of PFI may also be present in the city, in view of which investigation is being done. Let us inform that so far 54 people have been arrested in this case of violence. BJP youth wing leader Harshit Srivastava has also been arrested by the police for posting inflammatory material. According to the latest information, the investigation teams are continuously visiting the spot and collecting evidence. Even today police SIT members and Kanpur Ek { Tripurari Pandey went to the place of violence and talked to the sanitation workers. Efforts are on to collect all the evidence related to the incident. The raids were conducted early on Tuesday morning. A total of 11 accused were caught by the police in the operation. On Wednesday, ACP Pandey told that he found stone brick in the evidence. People have been questioned by doing photography and videography in the area.

According to media reports, the name of Nizam Qureshi has also been exposed in the Kanpur violence, his links have been found to be associated with the Samajwadi Party (SP) in the past. And hatred towards Hindus has been seen in the WhatsApp group running by the name of Nizam Qureshi. In the shared screenshot, Muslims are being stopped from taking goods from Hindu shopkeepers. The names of some shops have been written in the message, from which the purchase of any goods is being stopped. Above the message 'Message to Muslims' is clearly written. In this, with the names of Hindu shopkeepers, it has been told that, 'Just as they have been seated on their heads, in the same way they can be brought down from their heads by uniting.' The name of the WhatsApp group in which all these things happened is 'Team Nizam Qureshi'.
