Bangalore: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet in the BJP leader Praveen Nettaru murder case in Karnataka. This charge sheet was filed in the court of Karnataka yesterday, in which 20 people have been named as accused. On July 26 last year, Praveen Nettaru, a member of the District BJP Yuva Morcha Committee, was killed by three bike-borne assailants in front of his shop in Bellare. The investigating agency has said that this murder was done by the radical Islamic organization Popular Front of India (PFI).

Investigation revealed that the PFI had formed secret teams called service teams or killer squads to create terror, communal hatred and unrest in the society and advancing its agenda of establishing Islamic rule by 2047. Not only this but in order to identify, list and monitor individuals and leaders belonging to certain communities and groups, the members of these killer squads were also trained in attack techniques as well as weapons.

These service team members were trained to attack and kill targets on the instructions of senior PFI leaders. District service team chief Mustafa Pachar was instructed to identify and target a prominent member of the particular community in furtherance of conspiracy meetings on behalf of PFI members and leaders held in Bengaluru City, Sullia Town, and Bellare Village. As per the instructions, 4 persons were traced and identified. Praveen Nettaru's name was also included in these 4 people. According to the NIA chargesheet, activists and members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) organized an attack on Praveen Nettaru with dangerous weapons among members of a particular community to create fear and panic among the people.
