Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday downplayed any competition from the opposition in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, saying “Ab Ki Baar, 300 Paar, Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”.

While addressing a rally in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said, “From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kutch to Kamrup, the whole nation is saying- "Ab Ki Baar, 300 Paar, Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”. He also said “This Sunday when you go to cast your vote then you will be scripting history. After decades you will elect a majority govt for the second time in a row”.

The Prime Minister evoked social reformer Ram Manohar Lohia and stressed that there were majorly two problems that the women of the country faced today - water and toilet. “He stood before Nehru and stressed on these problems, again and again, but Nehru did not listen. I have launched a campaign to build toilets in the last 5 years to fulfil the dream of Lohia Ji”.

Khargone, a Lok Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh will go to polls on May 19, in the seventh and the final phase of polling for the general elections. The seat of Khargone was formed in 1962 and has been reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category. There are 12, 65,332 voters in the constituency. The nominated MP candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is Gajendra Patel who is fighting against Govind Muzaalda of the Congress party.

59 seats across seven different states and one union territory will go to polls on May 19. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be declared on May 23.
