Auto Expo In 2018, Piaggio has a spectacularly-looking Concept Electric Scooter Vespa Elettrica Showcase. The company did the Global Debut of Vespa Elettrica at the EICMA Auto Show in 2017, now the company has introduced this e-scooter for Indian customers. This is the first time that the Italian-two-Wheeler Company has introduced an electric scooter in India. At present, the company has not provided any information to launch this scooter in the country, it is believed that by the end of 2018 the production model of this e-scooter will start selling in Europe.

Significantly, the entry of electric vehicles in India has started with a loud noise, in that case, the company may launch Vespa Elettrica in the next two years. These upcoming scooters of Vespa can be operated up to 100 kilometers when full charge is over. In full charge, this scooter takes 4 hours to charge whether the scooter is charged at home or at the charging station. Piaggio believes that the Vespa Elettrica generates 2.7 bhp of power, while at the same time it can generate 5.4 bhp power without even having any sound.

Along with this scooter, X-Variants are also available, in which the generator has been replaced instead of electric motors. The range of this scooter is twice the ordinary electric Vespa scooter. The company has installed a light weight lithium-ion battery in the Vespa Elettrica. This battery can be charged easily 1000 times and this battery is between 50,000 to 70,000 kilometers. Two Riding Modes - Eco and Power have been provided in the Vespa Elettrica. Scooters can not be run at speeds more than 30 km / h on eco mode.
