Dehradun: A Bolero pickup truck has crushed 15 sheep and goats on the Bhuntarikarna road in the city. The driver is absconding since the incident occurred around three o'clock in the night. The shepherds have complained to the police. There has been already such an accident in the city.

According to the information given by shepherd, if he does not move on time, the driver would also crush him. After this, the police has started looking for the accused driver. The police have lodged a case regarding this matter. DSP Kullu told that the search for the absconding driver is on. The police is also investigating the CCTV footage. The shepherd and his child safely escaped from the incident. It is worth mentioning that these days the sheep are moving towards the mountains while summer comes.

In a similar incident on May 20,  a speedy jeep trampled sheep in Mandi district, three kilometers away from Kullu. Jeep driver crushed nine sheep and killed them. After the incident, the jeep driver escaped from the spot.
