The oldest and beautiful working actress of the Hollywood is no more. Yes, Connie Sawyer died at the age of 105. As per the spokesperson for the retirement home, “the actress died over the weekend at Motion Picture and Television Country House in Woodland Hills”.

Connie Sawyer was an American actress. She was best known for her work in Pineapple Express and When Harry Met Sally. The lady was born on 27th November 1912 is having more than 140 TV and film credits to her name. She started her career in entertainment when she was 8 years old. The actress chose to continue her work till now from Sophie Tucker to Frank Sinatra to James Franco.

In ‘Pineapple Express’ while working as Franco’s grandmother in 2008, Sawyer earned a lot of fans in her pocket. The lady was seen in various TV shows like ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’, ‘Hawaii Five-O’, ‘Dynasty’, ‘Seinfield’, ‘Will and Grace’ among others. Sawyer's first television appearances were in The Milton Berle Show and The Jackie Gleason Show in the late 1940s and The Colgate Comedy Hour in the early 1950s. In 1959 she was cast in the comedy film A Hole in the Head, which starred Frank Sinatra, Edward G. Robinson and Eleanor Parker. ’
