New Delhi: The matter of setting up a temporary Shiva temple in Kashi Mahakal Express train seems to be catching on. Now Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal while clarifying on this matter said that there is no truth in the allegation of AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Jyotirlinga has not been installed in the train which was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi. It was just for the opening ceremony.

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that on the basis of faith, some employees had put a photo of Bholenath on the berth and no one objected to it. I also take pictures of Lord Ganesha and Sai Ram together. Some people offer namaz. Significantly, a temporary temple has been built on the berth number 64 of coach number 5 of Kashi Mahakal Express.

Accusing the KCR government of Telangana, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that while the Center is supporting Telangana, the (Telangana) state cabinet advocates opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). This is a politics of appeasement. CAA is not against anyone. It will only grant citizenship to those minorities who have come to India after being tortured religiously in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
