Places to visit in Madhya Pradesh during Monsoon-

  1. Mandu – Mandu also known as Mandavgarh or Mandav is one of the most popular destinations in Madhya Pradesh, once the rain has washed away the ruins of Mandu it becomes entirely new and magical. It is the combination of Afghan architecture with elements from the natural world. Mandu is thought to be one of the best places to visit in Madhya Pradesh during monsoon season because there are so many amazing things to do there. Spending the monsoon season in Madhya Pradesh is a great idea thanks to the beautiful ancient fort city there.   2. Panchmarhi – This natural wonder is also known as the ‘Queen of Satpura’ because it is located in the Satpura ranges. It is a charming hill station away from the hustle and bustle of the city side. Panchmarhi is Madhya Pradesh's only hill station located at an altitude of 1067 meters. It is home to a number of waterfalls and hiking trails.  Padav Caves, Bees Falls, Jatashankar Caves, and Dhupgarh are among the tourist attractions in Panchmarhi. The mist of the falls can be seen and if you get closer to it you are more likely to get soaked by the misty showers. Maheshwar is a suitable destination to visit during the monsoon season as the rainfall enhances the beauty of the town and makes it a delightful sight. You can enjoy the pleasant weather, visit the temples and explore the historic fort.   5. Omkareshwar – Omkareshwar is a sacred town located in Madhya Pradesh. It is a spiritual island shaped like the Hindu religious symbol ‘OM’. It is known for its Omkareshwar temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. You will see spirituality and devotion to God Shiva everywhere on Omkareshwar Island. People visit Omkareshwar to seek blessings and spiritual solace. This town is near the river Narmada and Kaveri which add to the town's beauty. The town has a peaceful atmosphere that draws both religious and nature enthusiasts. You can engage in various activities in Omkareshwar like nature walks and hiking, boat rides and visit temples and worship.
