Top 5 Safest Country of the World

The Travel Risk Map enlists the safest countries in the world, and the top five are—Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Switzerland. A lot of factors have been taken into consideration, such as road safety, medical and security of the nations.

Top 5 countries which have Low Risk of Crime

The top five countries have been found to have a low degree of concern on the security front. This means that travellers can stay safe from threats such as political violence, crime and unrest. On the health front, countries such as Australia, Japan, Canada and the United States of America are considered to be at low risk.

5 European countries which have Middle Risk of Crime

Most European nations ranked low on risk, alongside countries such as the Unites States of America, Australia, Canada and Japan. Moreover, Russia, Ukraine and Kosovo were countries with medium ranking. Those with high risk of road traffic accidents are considerable parts of Middle East, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. So these areas did not earn the tag of the safest countries for travel.

The Most Unsafe Countries

Eastern Ukraine does not stand favourable in the map; it is considered extremely unsafe due to its continuous conflicts and unrests.

The countries on medium travel risks are ranked so because they have specific regions that are on the higher risk side and these countries are Mexico, India, Egypt and Ukraine.
