New Delhi: A petition has been filed in the apex court in connection with a poster allegedly criticising PM Narendra Modi. It sought quashing of firs lodged against all those who have put up posters criticizing PM Modi. Citing freedom of expression, petitioner Pradeep Kumar said in the petition that delhi police should be directed to take action against posters questioning the government's vaccination policy and not file an FIR.

Posters criticizing PM Modi regarding the vaccination drive were found in several districts of the capital Delhi after which Delhi Police registered an FIR against 25 people in the case and arrested them. According to Delhi Police, investigations have so far revealed that the posters were put up by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists and leaders against PM Modi in different parts of Delhi.

Police say these posters do not mention printing presses anywhere where they have been printed. During investigation, it was found that all this was being done on the directions of Prashant Kumar, a resident of Moti Nagar, who is an aam aadmi party worker and an associate of Rakesh Joshi. Rajesh Joshi is also an 'AAP' worker and has now been included in the investigation.
