Muzaffarpur: Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, and Ranveer Singh are in trouble. In fact, a case has been filed against all of them by social activist Tamanna Hashmi in a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Tamanna Hashmi has accused these actors of promoting tobacco. He accused the said actors of their popularity and the use of stardom. The social activist said, "In the country, he is followed by millions of people and he propagates tobacco. Eating which can cause all of us to get cancer.''
Tamanna Hashmi further said that these actors are playing with people's lives for money. And they are very hurt by it. According to a report that has surfaced, Tamanna Hashmi has filed a case under sections 467, 468, 420, 120B, and 311 of the IPC in the CGM court in Muzaffarpur. The petitioner said, "The Hon'ble Court has accepted it and the date of hearing on the matter has been fixed on May 27, 2022. Recently Akshay Kumar publicly announced the termination of his contract with pan masala brand Vimal. He also apologized to his fans for promoting it.''
He had promised that he would use the money earned from advertising for some good work. However, after Akshay Kumar's move, people started putting pressure on Ajay Devgan, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan to stop promoting tobacco. Every day people also made many memes that are still being made. Many people said that these actors who have received an honour like Padma Shri are selling tobacco.
